The British Columbia Ministry of Children and Family Development has taken a woman’s two children, for the second time last month, because her son’s legs keep breaking.
The child has broken his bones at least a dozen times since he was a baby.
After years of testing and trying to figure out why the boy’s bones keep breaking, his parents suspect he has autism and possibly a condition that limits his sensitivity to pain.
A psychologist found the boy has a very high pain threshold, explaining why he is not cautious around hot and sharp objects and takes risks.
Can a kid just be accident prone? Did you break any bones as a kid?
