Finance Minister Charles Sousa announced Monday that first-time home buyers will receive a land transfer tax rebate of up to $4,000.
This rebate means first-time home buyers will not pay a land transfer tax on the first $368,000 of the cost of their homes.
The change takes effect on January 1, 2017.
