Anti-Trump protests continued in the U.S. overnight with demonstrations held in dozens of cities including, Portland, Oregon Washington, D.C. and Miami, Florida.
According to Portland police, one person was shot after a fight broke out and they also had used tear gas with flash grenades to halt the demonstrators who were embarking on the Morrison Bridge.
In an update Saturday afternoon, Portland police said they have four people in custody in connection with the shooting.

Protesters also took aim outside the White House and the Trump Hotel where thousands gathered outside the 58-storey building in New York City, which is the president-elect’s home. Anti-Trump protests have been taking place across the United States for the past two nights and authorities say they are expecting more on Saturday evening in Chicago, Illinois and Los Angeles, California. Toronto Peaceful Protest
Meanwhile, a large protest is scheduled in Toronto next Saturday.
About 1,000 people are expected to march from city hall to the Trump International Hotel and Tower at Bay and Adelaide streets.
About 4,500 more people are interested in the Facebook event.
