According to the LCBO’s new CEO, online booze ordering needs more buzz.
George Soleas would like to see stronger gains in online sales leading up to the holiday season. Since the launch of the LCBO’s new online ordering service three months ago, the retailer has averaged 80 orders a day, translating to sales of $1.7 million thus far.
The LCBO had record numbers for fiscal 2015-2016, with net sales of $5.57 billion.
