Toronto Police are looking for the public’s help trying to identify a suspect in a diamond exchange gone wrong.
On Wednesday night a 61 year old man claimed he was defrauded in a diamond exchange at Keele Street and Avenue road.
The victim alleges he had a large quantity of loose coloured diamonds and made an arrangement to sell them.
In exchange he received a million dollar cheque that turned out to phony.
The suspect is described as 45-50, clean shaven, approximately 5’10”, short dark hair, wearing what is believed to be an olive-coloured Kippah, beige shirt with dark dress pants.
