Shocked travelers on Highway 401 captured last Thursdays road rage incident involving a group of motorcyclists and a compact car on mobile video.
Earlier on Monday, a video shared on social media showed scenes from behind the cyclists & a VW vehicle that would eventually crash and catch fire.
During the high speed chaos, stunning moments include an object being thrown from a car towards the bikers, and a biker doing a wheelie at high speed.
That video was eventually removed by the user from their instagram account.
An Ontario Provincial Police investigation revealed that a vehicle and the motorcyclists exited at Dixie Road, and a female driver got out of the vehicle alleging she was assaulted. Her male passenger in a moment of madness, got into the drivers seat, and took off southbound on Dixie Road leaving the woman behind.
Motorcyclists followed the vehicle which would eventually crash into a retaining wall and burst into flames. There were no significant injuries in any of the incidents.
The motorcyclists fled the scene.
The driver of the write off, 22 year old Andrei Sisu, appeared in court on Monday charged with several criminal and traffic charges including dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, and driving under suspension.
