FBI Officials and Washington State police are searching for a single suspect after a lone gunman entered a mall just north of Seattle and opened fire.
Witnesses say the suspect entered the Macy’s store at the Cascade Mall in Burlington, Washington late Friday night.
Five people have known been confirmed dead.
State Patrol Sgt. Mark Francis says the suspect entered the mall wielding a long gun similar to a hunting rifle.
Emergency officials were able to clear the mall and begin searching the 434,000 square foot area for the gunman.
According to Francis, the gunman was last seen walking west towards Interstate 5 at around 7 p.m.
The hunt for the suspect is currently on-going.
