Ontario PC Leader is facing intense criticism this week after issuing a statement Monday where he admitted he was “mistaken” when it comes to the province’s sex-ed curriculum.
During the PC’s 2015 leadership race, Brown informed Campaign Life Coalition’s Jack Fonseca via email that “I will repeal it. I say that everywhere.”
He also wrote that then-opponent Christine Elliott “thinks I am wrong for party given mine… opposition to sex education.”
In an interview Tuesday on The John Oakley Show, Fonseca called Brown “a Liberal in sheep’s clothing” and said he and other social conservatives feel “betrayed”. He is also calling for the PC Leader’s resignation before the 2018 provincial election.
The Toronto Sun’s Sue-Ann Levy told AM640 that since the beginning of the PC leadership race, she’s been concerned about the impact Patrick Brown would have on the party.
