Sports fans are among those that get particularly… passionate. When going to sporting events it’s no surprise that there will be very enthusiastic fans, and some of these fans, may be hecklers. The question is, when does friendly competition cross the line?
This umpire seems to have decided that enough was enough after continuous heckling was coming from a Phillies fan at Tuesday night’s game between the San Francisco Giants and Philadelphia Phillies.
Umpire Bob Davidson said he approached the fan after he made a sexual reference and was using foul language. Davidson then received a standing ovation from the crowd. You can watch it all happen below.
