U.S. Presumptive Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has introduced Tim Kaine as her running mate.
The former Governor of Virginia is bilingual and is most likely to be beneficial in Spanish-language media as the Clinton campaign is looking to appeal to Hispanic communities around the United States.
The 58-year-old Kaine was born in Minnesota, but was raised in Kansas and graduated from the University of Missouri. He also attended Harvard law school and served a year as a missionary in Honduras before he graduated.
Clinton made the announcement on Friday night via twitter and said “I’m thrilled to announce my running mate Tim Kaine, a man who’s devoted to life fighting for others. “
