A Vancouver teacher was suspended without pay for five days, and was ordered to take a class on professional boundaries after showing his grade 10 class a video by the musical comedy group The Lonely Island. The teacher was giving a lesson on parodies, and was using the music video as an example, as it parodies rap music.
The teacher also used the clip to show his grade twelve class as an example of satire.
