Environment Canada has issued a Heat Warning for Toronto and the GTA.
According to meteorologist Geoff Coulson the temperature is expected to reach into the mid 30’s from Tuesday until Thursday with Wednesday being the hottest day and the temp expected to be a high of 34 degrees.
Coulson adds that this heat wave will be similar to the one we just had last week and that there are no record-breaking temps in sight. Also, an unstable air mass will create showers with possible thunderstorms in the forecast.
We can expect things to cool down and become more comfortable on Friday when temps drop back down into the mid 20’s until at least Sunday.
