Toronto Police are searching for a sexual assault suspect near Danforth and Main Street.
Cops were called on Tuesday, July 5, at 2 a.m. after a man followed a 31-year-old woman on foot from the Danforth Avenue and Main Street area.
Once in the Westbrook Avenue and Chisholm Avenue area, the man sexually assaulted the woman.
he then fled on foot and was last seen northbound on Chisholm Avenue.
He is described as brown, 5’7″, 26, medium build. He was last seen wearing a black leather baseball hat, a green plaid shirt and a backpack with off-white straps and light-green plastic air pockets on the straps.
Police are requesting anyone who was in the area, around the time of the incident, who may have information, to contact investigators.
Police are also requesting anyone who lives or runs a business in the area to check their security cameras systems from around the time of the incident for possible footage of the crime and/or the suspect.
