The crown says it will appeal Gordon Stuckless’ 6-yr sentence for sexual abuse.
Prosecutors originally called for a 12 year sentence for the man at the heart of the Maple Leaf Gardens sex abuse scandal.
Stuckless was given a 6.5 year sentence last month for sexually abusing 18 boys decades ago.
He was also given 6 months credit for time served under house arrest.
Stuckless pleaded guilty to 100 charges related to the sexual abuse of the 18 victims.
