A couple of nineteen year olds are facing charges in a human trafficking investigation and police believe there are some other victims out there.
Over the weekend, police began their investigation after being contacted by the 16 year old victim.
It’s alleged she was recruited and forced into the sex industry by two people she met through a mutual friend.
She told police they took nude photos of her to post an online ad, she was forced to give them all of the money she earned over a three-day period, and when she told the pair she didn’t want to work in the sex trade, she was threatened with knives and a pellet gun she believed was real.
It’s further alleged she was confined to a Kingston Road motel room, and not given much to eat or drink.
The girl was able to escape and contacted police.
Charges for Austin Williamson and Joshua Presley include trafficking, forcible confinement, and print/publish/make/possess child pornography.
