A new ad campaign from the Ontario government is telling drivers to #PutDownThePhone, and have produced a new advertisement to help dissuade drivers from distracted driving.
The ad, which has been running on TV, Radio, and on the web, has a very powerful effect. A young driver is driving down the road, when he decides to pick up his phone very briefly. In that brief moment, his car is t-boned, and he is thrust into hospital.
Check out the advertisement below:
Do you think the advertisement is too graphic, or do you think it is appropriate, and will help to dissuade drivers?
John Oakley discusses if the ad is too graphic, or appropriate, with listeners on the John Oakley Show.
