The Tim Bosma murder trial is coming to an end.
On Friday, a judge will begin giving legal instructions to the jury, and it’s expected this will take a couple of days, at least.
The accused, Dellen Millard and Mark Smich, have each pleaded not guilty to first degree murder in Bosma’s 2013 death.
During his time on the stand, Smich testified it was Millard who actually pulled the trigger, which killed Bosma, and then burned his body.
Millard’s lawyer maintains it was Smich who accidentally shot and killed Bosma during a botched robbery of the truck Bosma was attempting to sell.
The Crown alleges both men worked together, and planned for over a year to steal a truck, kill a man and then incinerate the body.
