Canada’s most notorious pedophile has learned his fate.
Gordon Stuckless was sentenced to 6 1/2 years in prison in a Toronto courtroom on Today, more than two years after pleading guilty to 100 charges.
The charges are for crimes Stuckless committed against 18 young boys decades ago.
His lawyer, Ari Goldkind, was asking for a five-year sentence, while the Crown was seeking 12 years.
Goldkind argued that Stuckless should get two years of credit for time spent on house arrest and steps taken to prevent him from re-offending.
Stuckless has voluntarily undergone chemical castration for more than a decade.
The Crown, says Stuckless cannot be legally forced to continue taking the anti-libido medication.
As Stuckless left court families of the victims yelled “shame” and many shouted the “you ruined generations. Generations!”
Others were upset with the sentence and stormed out of the courtroom calling Stuckless an “f’in creep!”
Stuckless who worked as an equipment manager at Maple Leaf Garden’s previously pleaded guilty in 1997 for sex assaults on 24 boys between 1969 and 1988.
His almost 2 year sentence was increased to five years on appeal and he made parole in 2001 after serving two-thirds of his sentence.
