Three Toronto men are facing charges in a human trafficking investigation and police have raised concerns about the possibility of other victims.
Back in September, a 15 year old girl from British Columbia traveled to Ontario to visit some family and during her stay, she was introduced to a man, who took her out in November.
It’s alleged she was given a large quantity of drugs and alcohol, and taken to a local hotel where she was forced into the sex trade industry.
Police say two men took pictures of the victim in various stages of undress, and posted them online, advertising sexual services, knowing she was underage.
The teen was forced to work over several weeks in Toronto, Oshawa and Niagara Falls, and police say she was forced to have sex with ten or more clients a day, giving the men all of the proceeds.
Another man was brought in to the picture, who handled booking rooms for client visits.
The victim was able to call police for help about a week before Christmas.
An investigation was launched and police arrested three men.
Charges for Ahmadu Ahmed, and Maher Saleh, both 20 years of age, along with 18 year old Jerome Laing include trafficking in person under 18, and receiving material benefit from sexual services.
