Tragically Hip fans are hoping to score ticket’s to the band’s summer tour.
They go on sale to the general public on Friday morning at 10.
During a presale on Monday tickets were almost instantly sold out. Minutes later many appeared on secondary resale sites with inflated prices causing fans to rush to social media and complain.
That prompted a response from Ontario’s Attorney General. Madeleine Meilleur said she sympathizes with fans and says the ministry needs to look at what is happening with resale prices.
The band announced last week that lead singer Gord Downie has terminal brain cancer and this would be their final tour.
