Karen Katz was fired from the RCMP trough a non-consensual medical discharge under the new Bill C-42 on May 20th, just shortly after accusing male officers of sexual harassment and sexual assault. Today she was on the show to discuss her story.
One listener has emailed the show and stated that woman who get into male jobs just can’t take the male way of doing things, woman RCMP officers leaned on “sexism” accusations when they were really angling for “special snowflake status”.
Diane Colley-Urquhart, a Calgary city councillor, police commissioner, and former Alberta Human Rights Tribunal member also joins the show to discuss how she “lead the charge to deal with sexual harassment, bullying, shunning, fear of retribution, and intimidation” on the Calgary council.
Is this an issue of harassment and bullying in the work place? Or is it an issue of women in “male environments”?
