In front of a crowd of supporters and media Friday afternoon, Ward 42 Councillor Raymond Cho announced he will be seeking the Progressive Conservative nomination in the riding or Scarborough-Rouge River.
Cho also announced today that his campaign will co-managed by Ward 2 Councillor Doug Ford.
This isn’t the first time the Scarborough Councillor has made a run at getting elected.
Cho, 79, ran in Scarborough-Rouge River during the 2014 election but finished third behind Bas Balkissoon and NDP’s Neethan Shan.
Should Cho be elected to the provincial government, he has said that he will endorse his executive assistant, Hratch Aynedjian to fill his spot as Ward 42 Councillor.
The Progressive Conservative nomination meeting is set for June 4th.
