The Toronto Raptors will look to even their NBA playoff series with the Miami Heat at one game apiece tonight at the Air Canada Centre tonight.
Kyle Lowry was working on his shot late into the night on Tuesday after he put up only seven points shooting 3-for-13 from the floor. However, he managed to hit a 3-pointer from half-court in the dying seconds of regulation in game one to send it into overtime, but the Raptors fell short to the Heat 102-96.
DeMar DeRozan scored 22 points on 9-for-22 shooting and Jonas Valanciunas chipped in with 24 points.
Meantime, former Raptor Chris Bosh, who was hoping to play in this series, has now been sidelined for the rest of the season and hasn’t played since the All-Star break after he was diagnosed with a blood clot in his lungs.
Game two tips off in Toronto at 8 p.m. ET. Game three will be played in Miami on Saturday at 5 p.m.
