A Vaughan man is facing impaired driving charges after a York Region police officer was pinned between two vehicles.
It happened just before just before midnight Tuesday, in front of a home on Rivermill Crescent, in the Bathurst Street and Teston Road area.
The homeowners indicated there was a man sleeping in a car on their driveway, but they had no idea who he was.
When officers woke the man up, he put his vehicle into reverse and hit one of them, trapping the officer up against his cruiser.
He was treated for a minor leg injury and released from hospital.
Police determined the driver was impaired by drugs.
