Former CBC host Jian Ghomeshi was found not guilty of four counts of sexual assault and one of overcoming resistance by choking on Thursday, in a ruling the judge delivered after unequivocally stating that the accusers—one of whom was Trailer Park Boys actress Lucy DeCoutere—had no credibility. In the wake of this, people have said that this completely exonerates Ghomeshi, while others have said that it’s a blow to women everywhere.
