Toronto Police are seeking public assistance in locating a hit and run vehicle that struck a pedestrian near Pape and Mortimer Avenues.
The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. and the victim, who is a man in his 50’s, is now at a local trauma centre.
The vehicle is reportedly a silver car that managed to flee the scene immediately after the pedestrian was hit.
According to residents in the area, the driver cut through Withrow Park, consequentially leaving tire marks on the grass.
