A female pedestrian has been killed following a collision in downtown Toronto.
She was struck at the intersection of Queen and Jarvis at around 2.p.m on Friday afternoon.
According to paramedics she was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the dump truck involved in the collision remained at the scene.
The circumstances surrounding the collision are not immediately clear.
Jarvis Street is currently closed in both directions between Shuter and Richmond streets, while the 502 streetcar is diverting eastbound at Church Street.
