Donald Trump is poised to win a slew of U.S. States on Super Tuesday.
Tuesday will see Republicans decide 595 delegates, a number that is half of the 1,237 required to grab the GOP nomination.
Trump is viewed as the favourite in most of the 11 states up for grabs today, but there is tough competition in Texas, which is home to Senator Ted Cruz.
With Trump victorious in three of the first four GOP battles, and polls showing that the billionaire will do well on Tuesday, many GOP leaders, including Nebraska Senator Ben Sasse, have declared that they will not support his candidacy.
Sasse is concerned by Trump’s hesitation to distance himself from former Klu Klux Klan grand wizard David Duke.
Are you surprised by the American magnate’s continued success in the fight for the White House? Does Donald Trump truly have what it takes to be the next President of the United States? Would a Trump presidency hurt or help Canada?
