The 88th Academy Awards saw “Spotlight” win best picture and Leonardo DiCaprio accept his first ever best actor award, this one for his work in “The Revenant”, but the most talked-about moment was Chris Rock’s opening monologue.
The 51-year-old comedian took multiple shots at the Oscars and Hollywood.
“If they nominated hosts, I wouldn’t even get the job.”
“Jada boycotting the Oscars is like me boycotting Rihanna’s panties,” Mr. Rock said, “I wasn’t invited!”
