Toronto police have released security camera footage in the hopes of tracking down a man wanted in connection with a couple of bank robberies.
The first incident occurred on Thursday, February 11th in the Sheppard Avenue East and Midland Avenue area of Scarborough.
Police say that the man walked into a bank branch at around 6.45.p.m and handed a note to the teller stating that he was robbing the bank and that he had a gun.
He was handed a quantity of cash which he put into a black satchel before walking out of the branch.
Just over a week later on Friday, February 19th, the man walked into a bank branch in the Yonge and Yonge Boulevard area and once again handed the teller a note saying that he was robbing the bank.
This time he start to pull a gun out of the black satchel before being given some cash and walking out.
The suspect is described as a white male, in his 40’s, 5’7″ – 5’9″ tall, of a thin build, clean-shaven and wearing prescription glasses.
