Not an ordinary school day for students at Dunbarton High School in Pickering.
Durham Regional Police were forced to put the school in lock down for several hours Tuesday morning after 9 people were stabbed.
Six of the injured are students, the others were the teachers.
Authorities said the injuries were minor in nature.
A 14 year old female student has been taken into custody.
Police say charges are pending.
None of the injuries are considered life threatening.
The school is now under a controlled release and will be closed for the day.
