An Air Canada flight travelling to Vancouver had to make an emergency landing in Toronto.
The plane departed from Newark, New Jersey at 5:56 p.m. and made the stop at Pearson International Airport at 7:57 p.m.
One passenger tweeted that the jet lost pressure in its cabin and that it quickly dropped to 10,000 feet.
Flight 549 has been redirected and scheduled to land in Vancouver shortly after 9:13 p.m. PT.
AC549 landed normally YYZ w/o incident due to pressurization problem w/ AC unit. Arrangements made for customers to continue to YVR asap.
