A Sydney business man had almost $90,000 (Australian dollars) taken from his account through a bunch of billing errors from the Australian Gas Light Company.
Perry Malamas’s monthly bill was always leass than $300, but because he set up a direct debit with AGL, he got overdrawn. The gas company eventually did refund Perry’s money, apologized to him, and blamed the billing on an administrative error.
