A French politician is suing after a selfie taken by Madonna’s ex-boyfriend went viral.
Jean-Marie Le Pen was the founder of the French National Front party, and had the selfie taken of him on a plane while he was sleeping. Le Pen says the picture cost him the recent election. Twenty-nine-year old Brahim Zaibat dated Madonna for three years and posted the selfie on social media.
Does the politician have a case? Does someone have a right to post your image without consent? Does it matter if it’s in a public place?
