A local project manager who was found guilty last summer in a deadly scaffolding collapse will be sentenced Monday.
Back on Christmas Eve in 2009, four men died and another suffered serious injuries after their scaffold collapsed while they were working on an apartment balcony, 13 floors up.
Vadim Kazenelson was found guilty on 4 counts of criminal negligence causing death, as well as criminal negligence causing bodily harm.
The judge in the case found Kaznelson permitted his workers to get on the scaffold, knowing safety precautions had not been taken.
His lawyer has argued Kazenelson should serve 1-2 years in prison, but the Crown is pushing for 4-5 years.
If you were tasked with punishing Kaznelson, what sentence would you hand him?
