Toronto police say a man kicked out of ‘SAME’ nightclub on King West overnight Saturday, later returned to the venue with a gun.
Sometime after 2:00am Police say five to eight people were removed after “an altercation” at the club located at 510 King Street West.
After the group ejected lingered in front for some time, one of the expelled left and returned with a handgun.
It caused confusion for a few moments, but no shots were fired.
Police are searching for as many as five suspects, including the man with the gun described as wearing a grey hoodie.
Back in September, the club had to deal with an assault from two groups that went at each other with broken bottles leading to three
being sent to hospital with deep gashes. In that incident, one of the club’s employees received non-life threatening wounds, but had to undergo surgery in hospital.
Correction: Name of nightclub is "Same Nightclub" 510 King St W for person with a gun call. 5 suspects have left. Officers checking area ^sm
