Toronto Police have arrested a 35 year old man near the Eaton Centre after an unprovoked attack with a machete against a 30 year old.
Cops got the call just after 4:30pm of a man wielding a machete and menacing against another. The victim has been sent to the hospital with a head and leg injury.
Witness reports suggest that the suspect was screaming “F*** White People” before the attack occurred.
He’s been arrested by police. Arlington Thompson, 35, of Queens, New York, is being charged with:
1. Attempt Murder
2. Aggravated assault
3. Weapons dangerous
4. Assault with a weapon
He’s appeared in court Thursday morning, remanded into custody, with a hearing set for December 30th.
