John Oakley’s producer Lyndsey was pulled over by the angriest cop in Toronto yesterday near her home.
She was charged with ‘Change Lane Not In Safety’ after she changed lanes to get around a car making a left. Lyndsey argues that she did change lanes safely using her turn signals.
Lyndsey alleges that as the officer pulled her over, he yelled “you pull over where I tell you to pull over!”.
When Lyndsey questioned the officer, he bellowed “it’s NOT up for discussion!”
She’s not happy with how this rude officer handled the situation. His abrasive manner made her feel like a criminal, and he actually brought her to tears during the encounter.
Should Lyndsey lodge a complaint with the Toronto Police Service? Have you ever encountered a disgruntled cop? Should a cop’s demeanor always be cordial and polite?
Have you had a similar experience with one of Toronto’s finest?
