Police are looking for other possible victims after arresting a man accused of stealing from patients and visitors at Mount Sinai Hospital.
According to officials, a well-dressed man walked into the hospital on January 27, 2015.
Police allege the man situated himself outside the Neonatal Intensive Care unit and went through visitors coats and pockets left in the waiting room.
Officers say he stole wallets and other valuables then fled.
On Friday, November 27, 2015, 54-year-old Douglas Stephen Smith was arrested and charged with one count of theft.
Police are releasing security camera images of him asking other victims to come forward.
