Would you tell your kids the complete truth about your divorce?
Golfing legend (and legendary philanderer) Tiger Woods plans on telling all to his two children, 8-year-old daughter Sam and 6-year-old son Charlie, when they’re older.
Woods and Elin Nordegren ended their relationship in 2009 after a messy battle that made front page news, starting with Woods’ car crash following a fight with his angry wife.
The golfer admitted to a number of affairs throughout his career. Their six-year marriage was officially ended in 2010.
“I want it to come from me so that when they come of age, I’ll just tell them the real story,” said Woods. “I’ve taken the initiative with the kids and told them up front, ‘guys, the reason why we’re not in the same house, why we don’t live under the same roof is because daddy made some mistakes’.
Woods made the comments in a new lengthy interview HERE with TIME Magazine.
How much would you tell your children? What if the reasons for the divorce depicted one party as being unforgivably vile?
