Toronto Police confirm that an arrest has been made in the murder of an 82-year-old woman in Scarborough.
21-year-old, Sinbad Marshall is now facing charges of second degree murder and break and enter in connection to the killing of Stella Tetsos.
The victim was found dead inside her home on Elfreda Boulevard near Birchmount Road and St. Clair Avenue East Wednesday afternoon.
Police say the woman did live on her own and she was well liked in her neighbourhood. They are now investigating to see if the robbery was the motive behind her killing.
Marshall will be appearing in court at 10 a.m.
It looks like Marshall has had at least one other brush with criminal activity in the past.
Back in 2013, an 18-year-old man named Sinbad King Simba Marshall of Brampton was alleged to have broken into a home in the same area via a side window. The homeowner returned, a struggle ensued, and the owner sustained serious injuries.
Marshall fled, and has been wanted by police ever since.
