A cyclist was stopped by Edmonton Police Tuesday because he was rolling around without a bell on his fine ride.
This simple infraction resulted in 18 charges and one ticket!
After the 25-year-old man was stopped, he tried to give cops a fake name. This lead to arrest and a charge of obstruction.
Then, as he was being placed in handcuffs, a knife dropped from his pants.
A search of his backpack revealed a sawed-off shotgun, drugs and paraphernalia used in the trafficking of drugs (scale, etc.)
18 Charges… and what was that one ticket for? Riding without that bell!
