Some Blue Jays fans buy tickets to catch their team in action at the Skydome (Sorry, the WHAT centre?). Others watch the game from the comfort of their own home, while even more will catch the game at their local watering hole.
Turns out there’s a fourth approach: watching the game from jail.
Wednesday morning, Toronto police received a phone call from a man asking to be thrown in jail, only so he could catch Game 5 between the Jays and the Rangers.

Officers responded to the call, but couldn’t find the caller once they had arrived on scene.
A good thing, too, since there are no TVs in a police station or court’s holding cells, according to Constable Jennifer Sidhu.
