Humphrey Funeral Home on Bayview Avenue the site of the visitation for Canadian Tenor Michael Burgess, on Sunday.
Burgess was best known for his work with the Toronto’s Royal Alexandra Theatre, the musical Les Miserables and an occasional Leafs anthem singer.
He was the first to sing “O Canada” at the baseball World Series, in Atlanta in 1992.
Burgess died Monday evening in a Toronto hospice, surrounded by his family.
The 70-year-old Regina born singer had struggled with a form of cancer for a number of years.
His funeral is Monday afternoon at the Blessed Sacrament Church on Cheritan Ave, Toronto.
