The union representing Ontario’s English elementary school teachers will step up job action, Monday.
The E-T-F-O is also threatening to begin rotating strikes in October if a deal ins’t hammered out before then.
The union’s proposed work-to-rule plan lists several steps teachers may take, including wearing union buttons, caps or T-shirts on Wednesdays, nicknamed by the union as “Wynne Wednesdays.”
The E-T-F-O — whose teachers have been working without a contract since last year — is now the only teachers’ union that hasn’t reached a deal.
No talks between the two sides are currently scheduled.
