Anaheim Ducks defenceman Clayton Stoner has been charged in relation to the trophy hunting of Cheeky – a five-year-old grizzly in an estuary long the BC coastline. He`s facing five charges under the Wildlife Act, including hunting out of season & being in possession of dead wildlife and is charged with multiple counts of making a false statement to obtain a hunting license. If convicted, he could face charges up to $250,000. Do you think there will be a similar outcry with Stoner as there was with Cecil the Lion killer – Walter Palmer? Will he be affected like Palmer was? Will the NHL fire Clayton Stoner for being charged under the Wildlife Act for killed Cheeky – a grizzly bear?
