The Toronto Maple Leafs will open the doors to the Air Canada Centre this weekend. Admission is free and fans will receive unprecedented access to the Toronto Maple Leafs and Air Canada Centre at the second annual Leafs Nation Fan Fest.
The event runs on Saturday and Sunday and tickets will be free to members of Leafs Nation and distributed through a weekly lottery.
Fan Fest actually begins Thursday night with a Town Hall featuring Toronto Maple Leafs front office personnel, coaches, alumni and current players.
Season seat holders and guests will participate in a Q&A with Leafs’ President and Alternate Governor Brendan Shanahan, General Manager Lou Lamoriello and Head Coach Mike Babcock. To close the evening, Shanahan will make a special Legends Row announcement.
On Saturday morning, the latest additions to Legends Row will be unveiled as the statues for Borje Salming and a surprise Leafs great are added to the monument to team history outside Air Canada Centre.
Throughout the weekend, fans can meet Maple Leafs greats from the past and present, tour the Leafs and visitors Dressing Rooms and have their photo taken with the lowered banners of Doug Gilmour, Mats Sundin, Wendel Clark, Bill Barilko and Ace Bailey.
The event on Saturday starts at 10 a.m. with the Legends Row Statue Unveiling at 11 a.m.
