Officials in Niagara Region are seeking help from the public in identifying a body pulled from Lake Ontario.
They’re appealing to both Americans and Canadians.
Late Friday, the U.S. Coast Guard responded to a report of a body floating near the mouth of the Niagara River. The body was later recovered by the Niagara Regional Police Marine Unit in Canadian territory.
The man is described as white with blue eyes, approximately 50-to-60 years of age, five-feet-eight inches tall with a medium build. His hair is grey and brown, shaggy, with a similar coloured moustache.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Niagara Regional Police.
