The two teenagers charged in connection to the death of 14-year-old, Lecent Ross have both made an appearance in court.
A 13-year-old boy, who cannot be named under the Child Youth Criminal Justice Act, faces manslaughter and unlawful possession of a firearm among other charges related to weapons offences.
An 18-year-old man is charged with criminal negligence causing death with a firearm and a number of weapons related offences as well.
Police are not releasing the 18-year-old’s identity, indicating that it could possibly help identify the 13-year-old.
Ross died back on July 9th after she was shot in Jamestown with an illegal firearm near Kipling Avenue and Albion Road.
