It’s recommended to take the TTC this weekend, as a number of closures are in place. But drivers, rejoice! You have one opening coming your way.
Leslie Street between Queen St E. and Commissioners Street is scheduled to re-open on Saturday, after being plagued with numerous delays.
Lane restrictions will still be in effect as construction continues for new streetcar tracks and overhead power supply. That work is expected to wrap up this fall.
The south portion of Leslie has been closed for two years due to construction for TTC track construction adn water main replacement. It’s part of the larger TTC Leslie Barns project, the home for Toronto’s new updated streetcars.
